Property is titled Traveler's fourth album Remo Anzovino, a masterpiece of imagination and communication, which projects him as a candidate and one of the most modern, transverse and film
Italian pianist-composers. Music Anzovino has emerged in a few years with three important records - Odd (2006), Taboo (2008) and Igloo (2010) - all of which have reached the first position of the ranking of the iTunes jazz. Once again it is his ability to create real stories in music is striking about this album, according to many, his best. The protagonist - the real estate traveler - is the grand piano, the instrument bulky and difficult to transport, which acts as the narrator in the melodies. In the cinematic vision of Anzovino, this tool is a polychrome traveler who explores, with the power of imagination alone, places, atmospheres, flavors and cultures of the four corners of the world. For this traveler Building is a great tribute to the imagination. The blacks and white keys of the piano are at the map of a path with no limits: whether we are still in front of a computer or to an assembly line, in a subway or on a plane that takes us across the ocean We are all travelers properties. One of us is always elsewhere, engaged in another secret trip made of pain and emotions. And traveling Building touches stronger ones and ancestral desire, fascination, sexuality, the spasm, friendship, loneliness, fatigue, phase sequence of experiences. To Anzovino is a musical style unmistakable. Difficult to establish whether it is jazz, classical, rock, world or popular. Every piece resets the interest in the container and move the content, of what the author has to say urgently. He knows no boundaries of gender and sets to music the frames of human emotions, stories that do not need words to be told. His compositions follow a highly cinematic and visual perspective able to describe their time, the strong sense of pain and longing that permeates it, but also the emotions that keep him alive. In this sense Traveler Building represents an important turning point in the composer's career Friuli and, at the same time, a record unique in piano. Here his style becomes permanently without borders, cultural and popular with, international and yet, in the unique ability of being able to carve timeless melodies, deeply Italian. It was precisely the strength of the music on this record to win Oliviero Toscani, master of communication and photography, which, attracted by their magnetism, after listening to a preview of the album, has decided to give a traveler Building the cover, with a its brilliant and enigmatic images, played on the trajectories and the reflections from the face of Anzovino and piano. Produced by sound designer and producer Japanese Taketo Gohara (Vinicio Capossela, Baustelle, Banda Osiris, Mauro Pagani, Verdena), with orchestral arrangements by Stefano Nanni (Pavarotti & Friends, Elisa, Vinicio Capossela, the Winter Olympics in Turin 2006), the ' album consists of 12 songs of rare simplicity and directness. Short compositions where the piano, rather than representing the singing seems the singer and is the protagonist of the story, creating a very original size in the balance between classical and popular music, able to be urgent, pop, to everyone but also of incredible refinement . Around the piano, to create a sound and viable iridescent alternated also many guests of international level, many of the Orchestra of La Scala in Milan and the best session musicians in the rock scene and avant-garde. The disc ends with a suite for piano and male choir - made up of 42 male voices of the Polyphonic Choir of Ruda directed by Fabiana Noro, a leading men's ensembles in the world - dedicated to the Vajont tragedy, which in 2013 falls on the 50th anniversary . A composition by the overwhelming power of expression and emotional. A tribute to their land that Remo Anzovino strongly wanted to enter in closure of its albums, so that no one forgets.
