"We are the ones we expected" is a historical and generational concept in three acts, on the bestiary revolutionary love story of a precarious professor from Bologna of today, that dream is found in Bologna in 1977 to embark on a dreamlike journey that begins between movements student, blood barricades, the radios, heroin and unrepeatable artistic trends of the time. The album contains 15 tracks, among which emerge the poignant ballads dedicated to Andrea Pazienza, Pier Vittorio Tondelli and Frida Kahlo. The album, which saw a long, slow process that lasted three years, was made with the precious artistic production of Gianfilippo Boni, songwriter, pianist and producer Florentine. The work features many collaborations with famous artists and musicians of considerable national scene: Erriquez Bandabardò and Luca Lanzi at Casa del Vento (Cantini who sang along with the song "Five Boys" song on the historical founders of "Cannibal" and " Frigidaire ", avant-garde magazines that revolutionized Italian satire), the songwriters Massimiliano Larocca, Giorgia Del Mese, Silvia Conti Tiziano Mazzoni, Letizia Fires, Marcello Parrilli, and a long series of important Italian musicians such as Riccardo Galardini, Lele Fontana, Fabrizio Morganti, Lorenzo Forti, Bernardo Baglioni, Maurizio Geri, Claudio Giovagnoli, Francis Fry Moneti, Paul Amulfi, Marco brisk, Gabriele Savarese, Tosti Giacomo and Alessandro Bruno. a videoclip of "Patience", with the participation of designers Sergio Staino satirical drawings and Stefano, the comedian Sergio Vastano and photographer Stefano Giraldi, all artists who have known Andrea Pazienza in life was also carried out.

A professor from Bologna over thirty years, son of activists of the student movement of the seventies, amara- mind contemplates the generation shook through his own existential condition. That of those who went from a precarious researcher teacher, among the many obstacles of Baronaten and others' recommendations.

Besieged by the lack of stimulation and recognition, in an apartment shared with other students, during a dream back in time to find himself in Bologna '77 lived by his parents (CENTRAL WISH): that of "desiring", the blood barricades, of great artistic ferment. Catapulted in March, he relives the clashes that led to the death of the student Francesco Lorusso (killed by a gunshot fired by a member of law enforcement), with the city besieged by tanks also sent by Francesco Cossiga, all 'vintage interior minister (STOCK 84). Comes the punk-rock in Italy and blazes the nihilist myth of Sid Vicious, while "Radio Alice" (one of the first Italian independent radio stations), the voice of the movement, under control by the police weapons is closed March 12, 1977 (AFTER THE REVOLUTION ).

Meanwhile, the city bursts heroin: many young people begin to experience it, while oriscono large current ar- tics. Filippo Scòzzari, in the spring of 1976, is setting up with two friends in an empty house in Bologna, in via Clavature (a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore): the apartment immediately becomes the "Traumfabrik" (CROSS-CHES DE VIE). Here soon the guys start to create and to exchange opinions. Inside born videos, cartoons, documentaries, songs and bands. In the dream comes the meeting with the group of cartoonists extraordinary cutting-edge, real communication genes, that are able to change the Italian satire: the aforementioned Filippo Scòzzari, Andrea Pazienza, Massimo Mattioli, Stefano Tamburini (the creator of the character Ranxerox) and Tanino Liberatore.

The five founded a magazine called historical "Cannibal", and later - with Vincenzo Sparagna who becomes the director - "Frigidaire" (FIVE GUYS).

In Bologna, to the end of the 70s, the shining star of Andrea Pazienza. Came from Puglia to register for the DAMS, quickly becomes the rock star of Italian comics, the real chronicler of Bologna '77 experienced by the boys (with "The extraordinary pentothal" adventures). With so many different styles dictated by an incredible talent in drawing and invention tandosi a personal language: irreverent, raw, intellectual and intensely poetic. He died in 1988 (PA- ZIENZA) just 32 years, following a short time later another historical figure of Italian comics, or the friend Tamburini.

Arrived in the '80s, the professor lives the sudden transition from ideology to hedonism Reagan. The invasions any of the three Berlusconi's networks, the cultural monopoly that struck a large slice of generations (which identifies carono television a reassuring companion able to mark the seasons) between shady traf there and Abuse of Power (TECHNICOLOR).

Also comes the meeting with Pier Vittorio Tondelli, who lived the Bolognese enzymes and was the author of "Other Libertines", nonconformist and revolutionary manifesto of a generation (BLOWS DEEP, PIER). In leap oni- rico, the protagonist, is also found in the house azul the painter Frida Kahlo, who had welcomed Leon Trotsky in his home (EXILE) and between Tristan Tzara, Jean Arp and others, as they are the foundations of Dadaism in Switzerland in 1916 (CAFE DE LA TERRASSE).

Before Awakening takes place the last confrontation: this time with Federico Fellini (LIFE AND DEATH OF FREDERICK F), in the last years of his life, through a trip to Mexico in search of Castaneda for the screenplay of a new lm (which will never find the light). Here the path ends. The protagonist wakes up (OFF THE DREAM) with the decision to go away from the country. To leave the regrets and the constraints, including those of Catholic education that has perpetuated moral rigidity models counterproductive (PRELUDE goodbye). Comes the start de nal. Forced (DEPARTING). But RIAF now the rage for social unrest accrued over the years, filtrate through the fall of all hope.
