The new album by Francesco Garito is entitled "L'Attesa". Tuscan by adoption, certainly not the first hair on the new songwriting scene. And after adventures we say more compliant with the rules and aesthetics, Garito lets himself go to the production of a record that he knows he has packaged without "elegance" and without digital machines. "L'Attesa" gentlemen is a record that tastes of skin and sweat, a record of raw sounds and sounds taken at the moment. "L'Attesa" is a disc that searches for poetry and finds it, with a little ruffian melody and very dense textual lyric ... not heavy, attentive, but full of content. On the web a video, like a video of a journey, the snapshot of a life, the thoughts imprinted on a film that we had in the bag. And the quotes are not lacking ... make a good listening.

Born in the south, class '74 ... today Tuscan by adoption.

He started playing his own songs in 1999 with the Latebra project. In 2003 everything turned into a duo (with Fabrizio Squillace in art "Fab") called Cortez the Killer which offers in a key way a repertoire of covers of the American west coast, British rock and Italian singer-songwriter scene.
In April 2004 at the social center "Il Cantiere" of Monterotondo (Rome) divides the stage with
Paolo Benvegnù.
In the same year Francesco Garito became executive director of the traveling festival "Musica, vino & Molise" and at the same time he took part as production manager at the debut album of the Romans Pura Utopia recorded at the PIN studio of Vasto and produced by Violipiano Records.
In September 2005, after the transfer to Tuscany, the Banda Fleming was born, with which a busy live activity began, even touching the islands of our beautiful country.
And from the national semi-finals of the Premio Poggio Bustone (Premio Battisti) and from the De Andrè Award to the "Stazione Cantautori", dividing the scene with Max Manfredi ... and then telling you about the wonderful collaboration with Massimiliano Larocca, Ordinary Noise Orchestra, Luca Ghielmetti , Augusto Forin, Cristiano Angelini and Alessio Brunialti for the wonderful tribute to Luigi Tenco "Ciao amore ciao" held in Como at the Circolo Arci Xanadù. Only in March 2011 comes the first album, the debut entitled "Fotografie" with the artistic production of Gianfilippo Boni and the important collaboration of Bruno Mariani (Lucio Dalla, Luca Carboni, Samuel Bersani), two guests in the disk friends: Giorgia Del Mese and Carmine Torchia.
In Tuscany in parallel with other activities, starting almost from scratch, becoming a true street musician with the recognition of the City of Florence ... and even today it is so.
Francesco Garito is a founding member of the "Open Art" street artists association.
Today that street spirit we find in this new recording work entitled "L'Attesa" born from the collaboration with Stiv Cantarelli in the analogical studies of L'Amor Mio Non Muore in Forlì. No calculation and no digital mathematics ... but only the instant of passion that lives and sings behind the sound of these new songs.
