In 1999, the first edition of the Flyers was born, or a diary by a musician, to tell, between chronicle and history, the long musical, political and human adventure of Alberto Cesa and Cantovivo. The first sheet is dedicated to the missing friend Giancarlo Cesaroni. In 2000, the second edition followed and the CD-BOOK could be purchased with the Manifesto. The CD contains 11 songs and are all written by Alberto as well as its music and arrangements, for the latter there is the artistic contribution of Gerardo Cardinale:
THE FLAGS WRITTEN ARE LEAVES ON WHICH THE CANTASTORIES HAVE PRINTED THEIR SONGS FOR VENDERS IN CHANGE OF SURVIVAL AND TO TAKE HIM, IN A CANTED NEWS, MINORS AND BIG STORIES OF THE WORLD.
Alberto Cesa (1947-2010), singer, guitarist, guitarist and founder of the Cantovivo brand in 1974, was among the main performers of the folk revival. He has sung for over thirty years the inconsistencies and difficulties of living at the factory using the language of popular music: the ability to make music dialogues of different origins, from ballads to the rhythms of the south, have made him a reference figure for the whole national scene. More recently, he had devoted his production to collecting and putting into the music of the Flying Flies, writings and poems of a political nature that have been filthy for decades: memorable the book-book published in 2001 for the Manifesto.
