After the great international success of the Tuareg, journey into the land of the blue men, Agricantus face a new extraordinary journey, this time in time, searching for the roots of the music, "classical music", the so-called classical music that has always, through its protagonists, has drawn freely from folk traditions. This CD is a tribute to all the great musicians who have had full knowledge. Agricantus, therefore, have approached and inspired by great composers such as Grieg Mussorgsky, Albinoni, Paganini, Prokofiev, Bartok, Brahms, of which cite sound fragments or, as in the case of Luciano Berio, learning from him the lesson and following the trail of its own path. This experience has been lived by the group in their own way, sliding down in this "journey" with the same respect and the same care, that they had used in their previous project on earth Tuareg. The heart is always the same: the popular music.

Agricantus (from the latin: the singing of the corn field): is a band gender 'world ethnic-electronica' , born in Palermo. The group became famous in the mid 90's with the 'sound' of bandleader Tonj Acquaviva, and the arrival of Swiss singer Rosie Wiederkehr. From the beginning, Agricantus (Latin: the song of the corn field), has always had a boundless vision of the world, from which to extract a musical narrative through links with the cultures of the five continents. His artistic journey is symbolically based on 'vision of peace between peoples', that peace can be built continuously through the sounds, music and words. The intention is to enrich their music with sounds and colors, languages and scripts, with the desire to lead the listener through a continuous 'growing' and 'lowering' of music, to switch to another possible world.
